Council to approve Animal Services Manager position
While a final decision had not been made regarding the operation of the new animal shelter at the time of the Oct. 22 groundbreaking, the Sedalia City Council will consider adding an Animal Services Manager to the Sedalia Police Department staff during its meeting today.

City to begin operating shelter in coming months
While final details are still undetermined, it was announced at Monday?s Sedalia City Council meeting that the city will take over operations for either the current or new animal shelter in the next few months.
