German minister to discuss Iran's role in Syria during visit: SpiegelGerman Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel plans to raise concerns about Iran's role in the war in Syria and its human rights record during his upcoming visit to Tehran, weekly news magazine Der Spiegel reported on Friday. The magazine quoted Gabriel, Germany's vice chancellor, as saying Iran could have normal, friendly relations with Germany only when it accepted Israel's right to exist. Och-Ziff to pay $412 million to settle U.S. foreign bribery charges
In the first U.S. foreign bribery case against a hedge fund, Och-Ziff subsidiary OZ Africa Management GP LLC pleaded guilty in federal court in Brooklyn to participating in a scheme to bribe officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Och-Ziff meanwhile entered into a deferred prosecution agreement, in which charges related to conduct in Congo, Libya, Chad and Niger would be dropped after three years if it follows the terms of the deal.

Deutsche Bank admitted on Thursday it had an image problem with investors as fresh concerns over the stability of Germany's largest lender pushed its U.S.-listed shares to a record low.
